Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh’s new show to go on air from August 15

Ever since Family Time with Kapil Sharma fizzled out, there has been talks of Comedy Circus making a comeback on Sony TV. From that time, news is out that Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek will join hands for a new show. While the two agreed that they’re indeed collaborating, Bharti said that it would take time as Krushna is busy with his film projects. Now, the star comedian has confirmed that their new show will air on TV from August 15, which is Independence Day. He did not speak about the channel but in all probability, it will be Sony TV. The comedian was seen last on The Drama Company, which got a lukewarm response from the viewers. He is sure that he wants to come up with something that is truly special.

In an exclusive interview to Spotboye, he said, “On Independence Day, we will come on your screens and this time it will be a very big and good show. We can’t be excused this time. We worked a lot on Drama Company, though it didn’t work out as per expectations. But we still managed to sustain it for 8 long months. But this time, we are getting something big in terms of content and not just stage. Stage bada lagane se kuch nahi hota. People have watched us so much now, that every new assignment is a big challenge for us.” Bharti Singh has flown to Argentina with husband, Haarsh Limbachiyaa for the reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 9.

Krushna also confirmed that Salman Khan’s production house will be sponsoring the project. He told the entertainment portal, “Yes, we met him when he was shooting for the promo shoot of 10 Ka Dum. We are in talks, he is also very positive towards it. He likes me and Bharti a lot- and we also love him. We have approached his production company to sponsor us. We are talking to Deepak Dhar and Nadeem Bhai from his team.”

Well, it will be interesting to see what these two come up with. It would be nice to have some laughter back on the small screen.
